Last time, I opted out of the VTP/SWB, but I went through the options and ranked the vacancies in case OWP needed that information later in the layoff process. What happens in Wave 5 if I select to opt out, but rank the vacancies?

In Wave 5, if an employee chooses to opt out of the VTP/SWB, he or she must not choose or rank any of the vacancies provided. If you check the “opt out” box and then you complete the additional pages, ranking your preferences, they will not be considered as you had opted out of the VTP.
